Public Institution “Seventh Elementary School” Gornji Rahić

The Public Institution “Seventh Elementary School” Gornji Rahić has the total of 445 students in 8 grades. It encompasses the territory of the following local communities: Gornji Rahić, Ćoseti, Čande, Hukelji, Ograđenovac, and Palanka. The teaching process is carried out in the Central School located in Gornji Rahić, where the School Library is also accommodated, while the teaching process is also taking place in the field school in Palanka. The School owns a modest library fund of books for school literature reading classes and for the regular curriculum. Therefore, children must borrow books from the City Library, which is causing problems in their reading classes because the number of books available is insufficient. The representatives of the “Seventh Elementary School” approached EKI Office in Brčko asking for support. The staff members of EKI Brčko Office immediately initiated purchase of books required for school literature reading classes and were happy to respond to this request for support. When EKI staff were handing over the donated books, they were greeted by representatives of the School who were happy to express their gratitude for the donation of books that were essential for their curriculum.
