The eminent American business magazine "Forbes" has published a list of most succesfull microfinance institutions in the world during previous year. Among them there were five microcredit organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina. In world list of magazine "Top 50" which is famous in publishing list of richest people and most successful companies in the world, the best microcredit organization from Bosnia and Herzegovina is EKI that has taken 14th place among six hundred and forty one companies have been analyzed in whole world. Other representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina which have taken place at world list are as follows: Partner at 18th place, Mikrofin at 24th, Mi Bospo at 32nd and Sunrise at 39th place. Estimation criteria of microfinance organizations were: portfolio size, efficiency that consider operational expenditures and expenses for loan users in relation to GDP, risk regarding quality of portfolio and return to share capital and assets.
